What is Nima and what is Nima's mission?

Nima Dive Center is a PADI scuba diving center on Agia Anna beach, Naxos, Greece. Nima offers the full range of PADI scuba diving courses as well as daily boat dives to dive sites on Naxos and the surrounding areas.

Nima Dive Center’s mission is to teach people of all ages to multiple scuba diving levels, introducing them to scuba diving techniques and marine life exploration. Its philosophy is that the sea – along with all the creatures and treasures that reside in it – are for everyone to enjoy and preserve for centuries to come. Water is life and with the help of Nikos and Nima Dive Center, you can learn to live it.

You will start your day diving at Nima with a theory lesson / dive briefing given by one of our instructors. We will also give you a booklet that explains the most important information about scuba diving for you to keep after your dive. Our instructors will explain all the equipment and are very happy to answer any questions you may have.

Then it’s time to try scuba diving for the first time!

Our instructors will gear you up and take you on a try dive down to a maximum depth of 6 meters. The equipment provided is always state-of-the-art and is also routinely serviced and maintained after each dive.

Before Diving

Before diving for the Discover Scuba Diving program, it is required for the diver to complete some prerequisites. The diver needs to download the PADI App to his smart device and complete the primary eLearning course.

You can find the app by scanning the QR Code or by visiting padi.com.

Fitness and Health

Scuba diving requires a minimum level of health and fitness. Chronic health conditions, certain medications and/or recent surgery may require you to get written approval from a physician before diving.

Avoid disappointment, download and review the Diver Medical form to ensure you won’t need a physician’s approval to dive before enrolling in a scuba course. Instructors, divemasters and dive shop staff are not physicians and should not be asked for medical advice; only medical professionals can give medical clearance to dive.

If you (or your physician) have questions about medical fitness to dive, contact the experts at Divers Alert Network (DAN).
